K-FEST is a dynamic arts festival that transforms the town of Killorglin in County Kerry, Ireland for four days every June. The festival boasts a diverse lineup of exhibitions, performances, workshops, talks, and other events that take place in non-traditional arts spaces, such as vacant buildings, disused shops, and private homes. This unique approach creates an immersive experience for festival-goers, who are encouraged to explore the town and discover new artists and artworks in unexpected places.
To promote this exciting event, I created a festival website that showcases each event for the upcoming festival as well as previous year’s festivals. The website also features a map that lists all of the festival’s locations and the events taking place in each one, which is crucial due to the changing venues each year. In addition to providing essential information, I also captured photography that has been used for festival promotions, print materials, and press in regional and national papers. The website I developed has helped K-FEST expand its reach and grow its audience, making it an essential resource for festival-goers and artists alike.
